This project consists of a large scale tenant improvement to an existing 430,000 square-foot concrete tilt-up building in Kent, WA. The focus of the tenant improvement is a 30,000 square-foot mezzanine consisting of concrete topping over metal decking supported by steel bar-joists and composite wide flange steel beams. Coordination with the property owner’s design team was a crucial aspect of the project. In addition to the new mezzanine, the improvements included extensive remodeling to the existing perimeter concrete panels, a new service dock support of 35,000 pound roof-top mechanical units and coordination of an interior feature stair with the intricate warehouse beverage conveyance and storage systems.
